Paul Johnson, Chair of the independent Fiscal Commission, delivered the 9th Annual Dónal Nevin Lecture at the Riddel Hall, Queens University Belfast on 29th September 2021.
The lecture, ‘Options for fiscal devolution in Northern Ireland’ was delivered to c.50 in-person attendees in Belfast, and another c.50 delegates streaming online.
The address described some of the opportunities that may be available for Northern Ireland in terms of fiscal devolution, reflecting on some of the potential “risks and rewards” that may result, and was followed by a formal response to the lecture given by Dr Graham Brownlow, Queens Management School.
